We are a visually impaired non-governmental and non-profit organization aimed at giving hope to visually impaired persons as we work together as a team and as a family together with the sighted as our aid.
Hope Social Union for the Visually Impaired with the acronym HSUVI was founded on February 23 2003 by a group of dynamic persons with visual impairments and legalized by the Cameroon government in 2004 (Reg No: 0071/E.29/1111/Vol.8/APPB) and is currently at 80 persons with visual impairments, a third of whom are women and children.
One of the key initiatives of the visually impaired minority group sustainability plan is to improve education and training opportunities for people who are visually impaired.
By investing in accessible technology, promoting inclusive education and employment opportunities, and advocating for policies that prioritize accessibility and inclusivity, we can help to create a more just and sustainable world for all.
