HSUVI Partners with UBa’s TAGDev Program to Promote Inclusive Development in Higher Education

HSUVI Joins UBa’s TAGDev Program to Champion Inclusive Development
On May 9, 2025, the University of Bamenda (UBa), through its irrevocable commitment to inclusive development, welcomed HSUVI Bamenda and other key stakeholders to a strategic engagement under the Transforming African Agricultural Universities to Meaningfully Contribute to Africa’s Growth and Development (TAGDev) Program.
This landmark event was a platform for UBa to unveil a host of exciting opportunities for persons with disabilities grounded in its core values of Kindness, Listening, Co-Creation, Impact, and Collaboration. These values define UBa’s inclusive policy, designed to empower marginalized communities and drive sustainable development in higher education.
As a disability inclusion advocate, HSUVI was honored to collaborate with UBa’s intellectual community, taking part in meaningful dialogue around accessible education, inclusive agriculture, and community empowerment.
Through its Office for Persons with Disabilities (OPD), HSUVI is now strategically positioned to act as a bridge between the TAGDev initiative and individuals with impairments—ensuring that no one is left behind in this bold vision for transformation.
Together, UBa and HSUVI are co-creating a future of inclusive innovation, academic excellence, and equity in development.
